The SDG Olympiad is a global competition that empowers university students to co-create solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Student teams tackle real-world challenges in partnership with international organisations. Finalists come together at the global awards to share their ideas, connect across borders, and scale impact.

How to Participate?

The SDG Olympiad is powered by challenge-based learning, which takes many forms around the world. From hackathons and summer schools to innovation labs, university courses, and local programmes, we bring these together as SDG Innovation Events. They are the main entry point into the Olympiad. If there is none near you, do not worry. The Independent Track ensures anyone, anywhere, can still join the movement.
